Saved jobs, application notes, profile details and resume text stay in this browser unless you choose a cloud save or export. Signing in does not automatically upload them. Account records are separated in the app, but browser storage is not encrypted and someone with access to your browser profile can inspect it. Signing out hides account records in the app; it does not erase them from the device. Clearing browser storage can permanently remove device-only records.
Supabase processes email/password sign-in and optional authenticator verification. If you select “Keep me signed in on this device,” a renewal credential is stored in this browser. Passwords and access tokens are not saved in browser storage. Use this option only on a private device.
Cloud controls let signed-in users explicitly save and restore their profile, resume, saved jobs, applications and preferences. Account access is restricted to the signed-in owner. Device and cloud copies are separate. Restoring a cloud backup can replace the selected device records after confirmation.
You can download a local backup or use the cloud export and deletion controls. Downloaded files may contain personal notes and resume text; protect them yourself. “Download earlier device data” exports unattributed records from this browser without assigning them to your account. On a shared device, those records may belong to someone else.
Deleting a cloud snapshot or resume removes that selected cloud copy. Full cloud-account deletion requires confirmation; it does not clear device records or downloaded files. If deletion reports an error, it may be incomplete. Save your recovery codes privately if you enable an authenticator. Recovery-code use removes authenticators, signs out existing sessions, and invalidates the entire old code set.
Enabling phone alerts sends the browser push endpoint, encryption keys and selected role, distance, pay and experience filters to our Supabase notification service. No account, resume or application notes are required. Apple, Google or Mozilla delivers the notification to your device. Subscriptions are device-specific and remain active when you sign out. Turn off alerts on the Alerts page to delete the subscription. Expired endpoints are removed after provider rejection; subscriptions not used in this app for 180 days are removed. Delivery records are retained for 7 days; short-lived salted abuse-prevention counters for up to 1 day. New job alerts are checked every 30 minutes and grouped per device; delivery is not guaranteed or instantaneous.
The site uses a random browser identifier and records visit times and app sections for activity analytics. Railway hosts the website and may process access logs. Resend delivers account verification and password-reset emails, which requires processing the recipient email address and message content. Employer sites have their own privacy policies. Do not enter sensitive personal information in job searches or application notes unless it is needed for your own records.
